Walmart: Shopping & Savings App Reviews

Both are awesome and I got back $1.99 from savings catcher after 2 receipts.

I use this app for two things. 1) Find the location of a product in a Walmart store. 2) Scan receipts for savings catcher. I wish the app would put a version of my gift card in my Apple Wallet. As is I have to carry around a crumbling piece of paper in my real wallet in order to scan at checkout.

I use this app for the savings catcher. I have only used it twice so far, but Im very happy.

Great App, but Walmart needs to support ApplePay in this app and in store.

What the heck happened? I loved this app until the latest update. Now it wont even scan my receipts. It wants to kick me to a website, ask me to sign in, and then wants my phone number. Forget it. Before the update it scanned my receipt in a second and I was done. Im not giving you my phone number. If they dont fix this I will uninstall and they can just keep the money I saved.

Your app gets 1 star from me until you support Apple Pay. No way Im using QR codes like last decade.

I wish they update for the iPad.

every time Walmart updates this app it loses my login info. It’s even put in gobbledygook for my email. Yesterday they lost all my credits and savings in the account. Their customer svc cannot find them “unless I have all my receipts from the past year.” What a joke. Now deleting the app since it’s not worth the aggravation.

Now that Ive updated I dont have instant access to my gift registry, anyone else?

Love the savings catcher and have been using the app for almost a year. With the update a few days ago, the savings catcher portion seems to have disappeared! I can access my stored receipts, but no savings catcher associated with them!

I was returning an item, and it took forever to find the receipt it belonged to. What happened to the pull down where you could type in the item and the receipt would pop up?! The Walmart employees didnt even know what to do. Please fix this soon.

Unbelievable, but its totally true! Love the app, it really makes you save. Love the store and now with the savings catcher love it even more!

I cant use it anymore so I deleted and tried again and it still will not work. Please fix :(

I have been using this app for like a year now and loved it! Until the update where is erased the portion of the savings catcher. I cant see the rewards or balance anymore, pretty much the whole reason I ever downloaded this app! Fix this issue please!

Since downloading the app and updates, the app has never worked. It takes forever to scan a receipt and even then if it ever does, it asks to open a page in Safari. If you say no, it continues to scan but not read anything. If you say yes, it opens up a blank safari screen and even after refreshing the page, comes up with a blank screen. This app is not worth the time!

I mainly use this app to find out if the item im looking for is in stock at my local Walmart. That is no longer possible as it always says "unknown" now. I can no longer narrow down my searches as that is now gone too. Target here I come.

Got a push notification today of an ad for a computer. This has happened before. I thought this was against the rules?

This app is very innovative, my greatest problem of shopping in Walmart is locating the items I want, but with this app, it tells the specific aisle that has the product and the price. It also tells whether its in stock. The item scanner is wonderful as you can easily scan the item to know the price.

My wife was able to set it up on her phone. But even with the newest version of the app, Walmart pay just does not show up as an option on my Walmart app home screen. Rest of the app is great though.
