Walmart: Shopping & Savings App Reviews

Update: Loving the new look however my previous concern remains. The app needs better integration for the Savings Catcher/Gift Card. When it comes time to locate and/or use my gift card, I have to search a million places to find the gift card. Another downside, is having to retain the pin code for the Savings Catcher gift card via email. Would be nice if Apple Wallet/Apple Pay or Touch ID was incorporated into the app. Or include the scannable barcode for the cashier. But overall the app is good for adding items to a List, scanning in store products, & saving.

I updated today, and now it wont work. It keeps telling me Im not connected to the Internet, even when Ive got 5 bars of LTE.

Pharmacy portion of app still does not work.

Yeah you kind of crapped the bed on this update. Cannot scan any receipts.

Ive used this app for a while and no problems but lately there have been issues with scanning codes off of my receipts. It first started with not picking up on the dates and now Im having to add receipts in manually because its not picking them up at all. This has been going on for about a week and I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it along with turning off and on my phone with no change in the results. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Ive used this all for a while now and gotten back $10 in my savings catcher but lately the scanner for my receipts hasnt been working. Ive been having to put them in manually! Please fix!!

I try to open and now it just crashes closed after the latest update.

The search function is too broad. Needs to be fine tuned. I shouldnt see the exact opposite thing Im looking for when searching for something specific.

Please stop updating your app. Every time you update we lose features. Latest feature lost- the ability to email the scanned receipt to ourselves. Amazing how you can really mess up stuff. Who is handing your programming, Accenture?

Tried to redeem savings catcher money today and the only option showing was to create bluebird card account. Nothing anywhere about sending it to an ecard. Even went back to a recent email from Walmart trying to get me to use my savings balance. Hit redeem there and it just took me to the website. Not to actually transfer the balance to an ecard. Bad deal

Im thrilled every time I use my app! I find more ways to actually LIKE shopping at Walmart. I can scan any item for a price from my phone, I always have a receipt, I get money back AUTOMATICALLY!! I can create multiple lists and always have them handy just by scanning a barcode! Every update is a terrific improvement!!!! Finally, a shopping app worth having & ITS FREE!

This is the great app but I wish this can also update for iPad. But I wish this can update for iPad.

I loved this app I use it a lot for my family but after the update I cant scan any receipts. I would of given 5 stars but not anymore ......

Dont like the savings catcher after the update. Take the update off

I loved the app up till the recent update which killed the ability to search old receipts for returns! Up till now I used to scan the receipt and throw the receipt in garbage as soon as I stepped away but I think that finding items in physical receipt is much better than going through each and every receipt and searching for the item. The receipt load times are much longer It was a wonderful way to search for any item that you bought if you remembered to scan your receipt! Please bring that feature back!!

I have lost my reward dollars. Have sent several emails with no answers. If it was just a few dollars I would not care but I was up to 170.00.

Thank you for removing the option to search my receipts for an item **NOTE SARCASM** I have to sit and go through every receipt in savings catcher if I want to return an item ...before you only had to type in the item name In the search bar and it would pull up the receipt no longer has the option to search VERY disappointed takes the app from five star to one star Took me 10 minutes in the store the other day to find the item in my receipts that I was exchanging DISGUSTED

The latest version receipt scanning opens website? Hope they fix this soon usually a dependable app. Also they should provide wi-fi near checkouts if they want people to use their apps?

The receipt will not scan, every time I try it brings me to safari to get a verification code, but it still does not work.

I started using this app due to the savings catcher and then the scan feature quit. I can still scan after I sign in the website. I expect this bug can be fixed. Like getting money back!:)
