Receipt searched removed & no delete option

The most recent updates have removed the functionality of searching for a product amongst saved receipts. What benefit could that bring to remove such a useful feature??? They also continue to push updates without any option to manually or automatically remove receipts from savings catcher. With 150 receipts, its very slow to load. Why do I need receipts past 90 days (return policy limit) or maybe 180 days?
